Harris Wharf London: Jackets with history and style

Harris Wharf London, a family-run business with deep Italian roots, specializes in the processing of wool into jackets. This process involves boiling and pressing the wool, resulting in light but warm jackets. Each jacket that we at Es have selected is carefully designed with special attention to detail and colors that reflect aesthetic beauty.

The Story Behind Harris Wharf
Harris Wharf is based on the stunning Regent's Canal in Angel, London. This area borders Crystal Wharf, a modern housing complex, and Diespeker Wharf, an old building originally used as a timber yard. This is where the story of Harris Wharf London began and the place that contains the soul of the company.

In 2007, siblings Giulia and Aldo Acciardi moved to London, where they found inspiration for their clothing collection, Harris Wharf London, launched in 2010. With their family's history of textile craftsmanship and innovation, the brand has steadily grown to become a modern classic. A focus on high quality fabrics and timeless cuts, never at the expense of accessibility, makes Harris Wharf London a luxury brand in disguise.

Sustainability and Timeless Design
Harris Wharf London's jersey-focused collection is minimalistic and simple. It features unlined and raw-cut outerwear in an effortless interpretation of traditional cuts and shapes. The aim is to create a style that lasts for many years thanks to the fabric's durability, trans-seasonal properties and timeless design.

The brand's sustainability process begins with the careful selection of first-class materials that meet their expectations for sustainable characteristics such as traceability and the use of natural substances that are AZO- and reach-compliant, as well as the possibility of recycling. To reduce environmental impact, Harris Wharf London uses a digital cutting system that enables maximum efficiency in fabric use and reduces fabric waste. Harris Wharf London only produces to order, meaning there is minimal excess stock. Any residual goods are then sent to a specialized association to be recycled into new yarn.
